چکیده
Crops are largely influenced by climatic conditions during the growing season and therefore, minor deviation from optimal can seriously threaten yield. In view of this, knowledge on effect environmental factors crop growth development could reduce possibilities significant yield loss. There have been statistical methods which developed in respect to characterizing crops but additive main multiplicative interaction (AMMI) method integrates analysis variance principal components into a unified approach. AMMI has used G × E with greater precision many crops. The objective this study was assess extent genotype x environment select stable cowpea genotypes Ghanaian environments over seasons using model. Eight released Research Institute Ghana two decades were selected for evaluation locations RCBD 3 replications forest transitional zones Ghana. When mean yields various subjected model, results showed that, highly (P 0.001) location year effects grain recorded 63.1% total variation attributable effects. Bi-plot PC1 GGE gave 80.8% 89.3% respectively. Genotype Asontem (G3) had highest adapted all seasons. Genotypes Asetenapa (G1) Soronko (G6) however not consistently low across environments. It is recommended that farmers Forest should cultivate order get due change.

متن کاملanalysis of grain yield stability in hexaploid wheat genotypes grown in temperate regions of iran using additive main effects and multiplicative interaction
eighteen wheat breeding lines were evaluated along with two check cultivars across nine locations of temperate zone of iran during two crop seasons (2003-2004 and 2004-2005). field records were taken for some important traits especially grain yield. combined anova for nine locations in the first season and for seven locations in both seasons was undertaken. in each case, additive main effects a...
متن کاملAnalysis of grain yield stability and assessment of genotype × environment interaction for grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L. Moench) genotypes
The interaction of genotype × environment creates complications in yield prediction and is a challenge for agronomy and plant breeding programs. To evaluate grain yield stability and genotype × environment interaction for 18 local and exotic grain sorghum cultivars, lines, and hybrids, a field experiment was conducted using randomized complete block design with three replications in four region...
متن کاملAnalysis of Genotype × Environment Interaction for Seed Yield in Winter Rapeseed Cultivars and Lines Using Multivariate Method of Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction
Evaluation of the different genotypes under different environmental conditions helps plant breeders in detecting stable and high-yielding genotypes. In this regard, 13 winter rapeseed cultivars and lines were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with three replications in six experimental field stations of cold and temperate regions of Iran (Isfahan, Hamedan, Karaj, Kermanshah, Khoy ...
